In 2017 Founded under the name Kovansan Metal İşleme ve Makina Pazarlama Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, our company has set itself the goal of being the best in metal forming.
We serve the Turkish defence industry in the machining of cartridge cases, a semi-finished ammunition component. In line with our country needs we renew ourselves every day and accelerate all work required to produce new case types, investing with determination and integrity as a company.
Cartridge case and core manufacturing for pistol and infantry rifle ammunition, plus plastic plug and blank cartridge case production. All our products are made to customer technical drawings and the relevant standards. See all products →

The 9 × 19 mm case below is modelled exactly from CIP nominal dimensions. Drag to rotate and click a part name to zoom in.
The end that seats the projectile. Length calibration and mouth trimming are done in the final stage; the wall is at its thinnest here.
The main body formed by deep drawing. It is slightly tapered so the case seats fully in the chamber and extracts easily.
The groove the extractor claw grips. It ejects the spent case; its dimension is critical to the weapon mechanism.
The thickest region, carrying the firing pressure. It is consolidated by pressing and is significantly harder than the body.
The pocket that seats the primer, plus the flash hole. Its depth tolerance directly affects ignition reliability.
Every region of a cartridge case is the result of a different production step and a different tolerance. Select the part you want to examine.
A six-stage production flow that starts from brass strip using the deep drawing process and, through interstage annealing and surface treatment, reaches a finished case held to its dimensional tolerances. See the details →
Blanking the disc from brass strip and forming the first cup.
Wall thickness is reduced in progressive drawing presses to reach the case body length.
Annealing in a controlled atmosphere removes work hardening and makes the material formable again.
Case head pressing, primer pocket and flash hole machining, extractor groove cutting.
Mouth trimming, length calibration and finalising the diameter tolerances.
Surface cleaning, polishing, sample-based dimensional and visual quality control, packaging.
Making corporate development continuous starts with measuring performance. Seven calibre families, a six-stage production line and seven certificates — all the result of the same discipline.
We hold every facility security clearance, production permit and management system certificate required to operate in the defence supply chain.
