5,56 mm Overview
5.56 x 45 mm NATO is the standard infantry rifle ammunition. It has a bottleneck case geometry; this requires a shoulder line tapering from body to neck and involves additional drawing and necking steps in production. At Kovansan we manufacture 5.56 mm cases and cores.
