Explains which cookies we use on our site, why we use them and how you can manage your preferences.
What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. Local storage (localStorage) is a browser feature that works in a similar way but is not sent to the server automatically. In this policy both are referred to together as cookies.
Our Approach
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, pixel, ad network or behavioural tracking tool on our site. No non-essential resource is loaded without your consent.
On your first visit you will see a preference bar at the bottom of the screen. If you choose Necessary only, third-party embedded content (the map) is never loaded; the site still works fully in that case.

No cookie is placed when fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; however your IP address is transmitted to Google as part of the request. No data is sent to WhatsApp unless you click the WhatsApp link.
Cookie Categories
- Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the core functions of the site and to remember your preferences. Without them the site does not work properly, so they cannot be switched off. The legal basis is legitimate interest and the provision of the service.
- Functional / third-party content: The embedded Google Maps map. Loaded only with your explicit consentla and you can withdraw it at any time.
- Analytics and marketing cookies: Not currently used. If they are added in future this policy will be updated and your consent will be obtained separately.
Managing Your Preferences
You can change your choice at any time:
- Using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of the page you can reopen the preference bar.
- You can block or delete cookies entirely from your browser settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security; Safari: Preferences → Privacy; Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security; Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions).
- Clearing your browser data resets all preferences and the bar appears again.
Your cookie consent expires automatically after 12 months and you will be asked for your preference again.
