Accessibility Statement

At Kovansan Metal A.Ş. we aim to make our website accessible to the widest possible audience.

Conformance Status

This website has been developed with the aim of meeting the WCAG 2.1 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) criteria. Pages are built with semantic HTML; heading hierarchy, landmarks, form labels and image alternative texts are defined. Full keyboard navigation is supported and every page begins with a «Skip to content» link.

You can open the settings panel using the accessibility button in the corner of the page. The panel also opens with from the keyboard and closes with Alt + E Esc .

Night and day theme

The page can be viewed on a dark or light background. The preference is stored in your browser.

Text size

All page content can be scaled up or down in 90%, 100%, 115% and 130% steps.

Read aloud

The page text and image alternative texts can be read aloud using the browser speech synthesis; the reading speed is adjustable.

High contrast

Text and border colours are strengthened to improve readability.

Reduced motion

Animations, transitions and automatic slide advance are stopped.

Link highlighting

All links on the page are underlined so that colour is no longer the only distinguishing feature.

Dyslexia friendly type

Letter and word spacing is opened up and a more distinguishable typeface family is used.

The focused element is marked with a clear outline during keyboard navigation.

Line, letter and word spacing is applied in line with WCAG success criterion 1.4.12.

A horizontal reading band is displayed at the pointer position.

Storage of Your Preferences

The accessibility settings you choose are held only in your own browser local storage (localStorage). This data is not sent to our servers, is not shared with third parties and does not constitute personal data. Settings are cleared when you clear your browser data or use the Reset to Default button in the panel.

Known Limitations

  • The read aloud feature depends on the browser speech synthesis engine. On devices without a suitable voice pack installed, pronunciation quality may vary or the feature may not work.
  • The embedded map service belongs to a third-party provider (Google Maps); the accessibility of this component is outside our control. All information shown on the map is also provided as text on the Contact page.
  • Certificate and gallery images are scanned documents; if you would like the document contents in text form, please contact us.
